The Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance

Winter Dance Collection was produced in February 2024 at the Donald C. Bedell Performace Hall, a 950-seat proscenium theater located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. As lighting designer, my role was to envision and execute a design for seven choreographed pieces of various dance styles. I programmed the show on an ETC Ion console and worked with Lightwright 6 and Vectorworks 2024 to create lighting-based paperwork and plots. I utilized LEDs and moving head fixtures such as ETC Coloursource PARs, MAC 500s, MAC 550s, Chauvet Rogue 2 Washs, and MAC III Washs to execute my design. I directed and oversaw electrics crews comprised of conservatory students through light hang and focus calls in preparation for the production.
